Prerequisites: The prerequisite to this course is the completion with a grade of “C” or better of Math 123A and Math 123B (or equivalent courses). Textbook: Elementary Geometry for College Students (4th Edition, by Alexander and Koeberlein). In this course we will review Appendix A, and cover 1.1 – 7.5 (with some omissions) Assignments: Do all assigned problems (and more) Attendance: Attendance is mandatory. Evaluation: There will be daily quizzes, two tests, two projects, and a comprehensive final exam as per the schedule given on the next page. Grading Scheme: | Your 8 best scores on the quizzes (@ 10 pts each): 80 pts Projects: 40 pts H.W. (due at the start of the following class meeting): 80 pts Two tests: 400 pts A comprehensive final exam: 200 pts. |
