Student Learning Outcomes
A. Quantitative Reasoning: Identify, analyze, and solve problems that are quantitative in nature. 1. Various class assignments and group projects will be used to assess students’ ability to master basic individual taxation. 2. Students will have assignments to assess their ability to analyze and interpret tax rules and regulations. 3. There will also be a tax return project that will assess their taxation knowledge to completing real world returns and providing consulting advice. B. Technical Competence: Utilize the appropriate technology effectively for informational, academic, personal, and professional needs. Students will utilize website tools to complete a group tax return project. They will also learn to utilize web based communication to work with their team members.
